Lost in the World Answers

The general premise of the video was to address the effect social media and technology is having on us as a society. It shows how we are desensitized to things such as death and how we show fake personas to the world online. People are becoming superficial and care about the wrong things and more and more people are suffering to mental illness.

I believe the video is effective in conveying its message. The animation has many elements people can relate to and shows many examples of how social media is affecting us by showing everyone always on their phones, and filming everything.

I feel as if this was more of an examination of our current society. People today are like the people in the video: always looking down onto their phones, laughing at fights filmed and posted online, having a fake persona online. If anything from this video were a telling of the future, it would be the ending scene where everyone is on their phones and walking off a cliff. Maybe it shows how technology and media will eventually be our downfall, and make life worse.
